First off, I’ve been thinking a lot about USB-powered lights. I’ve got a Govee RGB light that’s perfect for my nightstand, but the power setup is a bit of a hassle. The outlet is behind the bed, so the plug has to be super thin. I’ve been using a tiny USB power brick, and it works great! But I wonder if Govee could make a short RGB light that either has a really thin plug or uses USB power directly. It would be such a neat solution for tight spaces!
Another thing I’d love to see is an expanded geofencing feature. Right now, the app allows geofences up to about 3,000 meters, but I’d love to set much larger areas. For example, I’d love to have a geofence that triggers “Away” mode when I’m more than 120 miles from home, which would be super handy when traveling. Expanding this functionality would make our smart homes even more adaptable to our busy lives!
Lastly, I’d like to mention the splash screen customization. I’ve noticed that some apps let you change the loading screen, and I think it would be a nice touch to have that option in our smart home apps too. It’s a small detail, but it adds a personal touch to the experience.
