While the devices show up in my app, I’m having trouble controlling them. Has anyone successfully paired these dimmers with the latest SmartThings update? Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
On a different note, I’ve been experimenting with my Google Nest Wifi routers and noticed some interesting behavior. When both routers are hardwired, the secondary router’s connection only shows as “Good,” but when I disconnect the Ethernet cable, it jumps to “Great.” I’m curious if others have experienced this and if there’s a way to fully utilize the gigabit connection between the routers. Should I just leave the secondary router in wireless mode for better performance?
Another topic I’d love to discuss is cable management. I’ve recently moved into a rural home and upgraded to Google Mesh Pro for better coverage. However, I’ve encountered some signal dropouts, especially with my connected CCTV system. I’d love to hear if others have faced similar issues and how they resolved them. Maybe there’s a clever cable management trick or a configuration tweak that could help stabilize the connection.
