Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Fibaro 223 switches on Hubitat. Like many of you, I’ve been dealing with some reliability issues. The devices would sometimes work perfectly, but other times they’d be unresponsive or take ages to update. It was pretty frustrating, especially since automation should be seamless, right?I started by checking the latest driver from GitHub, thinking maybe an update would solve things. After installing it, the behavior didn’t change much. I tried refreshing the states multiple times, but it was like whack-a-mole—temporary fixes at best. Then, I decided to look into the logs more closely. I noticed some errors that hinted at communication problems between the hub and the switches. I reached out to the community here and on other forums, and it turns out I’m not alone. Some users suggested checking the Z-Wave mesh, so I ran a network heal. To my surprise, that made a big difference! The devices started responding more consistently.I also adjusted some settings in the Hubitat preferences, like disabling energy logging for these devices, which seemed to help reduce the load on the hub. It’s not a perfect solution yet, but the situation has improved noticeably.I’m still keeping an eye on the logs and will update if anything changes. If anyone else has tips or tricks, I’d love to hear them! It’s great to see how the community supports each other in troubleshooting these issues. Keep the discussions going!
