Hello everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation, and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! However, I’ve hit a bit of a snag with my Fibaro Wall Plug and my washing machine. Let me share my experience and see if anyone out there has encountered something similar or might have a solution.
I’ve got multiple wall plug brands in my setup, but the issue seems to persist across all of them. My washing machine causes the plug to shut down, which is quite inconvenient. The Fibaro, being the most expensive option, should theoretically handle this better, right? According to some insights, the peak load is just a little over 2kW, which shouldn’t be too much for the Fibaro to manage. I’ve tried tweaking some advanced settings, but nothing seems to work so far.
I’ve heard from others in the community that they’ve successfully integrated Fibaro plugs with high-output devices, so I’m hopeful there’s a fix out there. Maybe there’s a specific setting or workaround I’m missing? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this or has some technical insights.
On a lighter note, despite the hiccup, I’m still amazed by how much smarter my home has become. The convenience of controlling lights, temperature, and even my washer from my phone is something I wouldn’t trade for the world. It’s these little bumps in the road that remind me just how much there is to learn and explore in this space!
Thank you all in advance for your help and suggestions. Let’s keep the smart home revolution rolling! ![]()
