Hello everyone, I’m trying to control my Foscam FI9821W V2 camera using a script so that it moves to specific preset positions. I’ve looked into various forums and guides, but I’m still having trouble getting it to work. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
I entered the following HTTP command in my browser:
http://MyIP:Port/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?usr=MyUser&pwd=MyPassword&cmd=ptzGotoPresetPoint&name=1
According to the documentation, this should move the camera to preset position 1. However, the camera doesn’t respond. I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing or if there are additional steps required to control the camera via a script.
I’ve also installed Cuxd and added the camera to my CCU, but I’m still not able to get it to work. I’m relatively new to this, so any guidance would be appreciated!
