Please consider an opt in presence clear feature if a threshold of movement hasn’t been met within a time frame for each tracked presence. I’m constantly having to manually remove ghosting and they stay completely still so this feature should allow them to clear themselves instead of me having to manually clear them for my automations to turn my lights off. If I’m still in the room it should pick me back up as I have some sort of movement vs the ghost. Also when manually removing it’s annoying to remove as it’s almost as though the presence icons glitch through the sticker layout and I have to tap it several times to try and get the manual remove option to appear.
@germexican Your suggestion for an opt-in presence clear feature to address ghosting in the FP2 is quite insightful! It seems that having a system where the presence is automatically cleared if a movement threshold isn’t met could indeed streamline automations, like turning lights off without manual intervention. This would definitely enhance the user experience by ensuring that the system recognizes actual presence versus ghosting.
Regarding the difficulty in manually removing ghosting due to the icons glitching through the sticker layout, it’s understandable how this can be frustrating. While current documentation doesn’t specifically address this feature or issue, your feedback is valuable and could inspire improvements in future updates.

How do I know my idea will be seen by the team for consideration? Is there a better place to post it? As a work around I just created a shortcut called reset ghost which removes presence all together. This isn’t ideal as I have to always hit it when I leave my automation area but I at least know the lights will turn off and I don’t have to remove the ghosts by hand.
