FP2 Random Ghosting

Since the August update, one of my FP2 presence sensor randomly will detect presence for 30 seconds then clear. This sensor has been in the same location for months with no issues. I have 4 other sensors and one of them does something similar but not as frequent. It will work for days with no issues, then randomly detect presence on and off for hours, then resume working normally. I have tried different settings and moving the sensor, nothing fixes the issue. Nothing has changed in my room environment. Any others having a similar issue?

Hello, welcome to the forum.
As a suggestion, first check the power supply of the sensors. This may be the problem. Often devices that have external power (with poor-quality network) can work unstable. I emphasize once again, this is my suggestion for the initial search for your problem.

I tired using larger power adapters on both of the sensors I’m having issues with (5v 2.4A) but am still having the issue.

Hi, my next step (I do this) is to try reinstalling the sensor. Remove it from the smart home and reinstall it. Maybe it will relearn without any glitches.

these sensors sometime pick up artifacts like a reflection as a false positive occupancy, maybe look into this too

No success. I don’t think a reflection would do this, if it were a reflection it would be a constant issue. My issue is intermittent. And the ghosting clears very fast, within 3-30 seconds of detecting presence. It seems like an algorithm issue.
