Fp2 sensor frequently disconnecting from network

I have 2 fp2 sensors. My original sensor works fine and rarely has any connection issue. My second unit is the past few months frequently disconnects from my home network. It eventually reconnects. This occurs about 3-5 times a day. It occurs a lot at night. Both sensors are on the same wifi network. I have a M3 on my second floor and a M2 hub the first floor for connectivity to aqara ecosystem. Any ideas how to resolve this?

Hi @e_menyah looks like the second one is placed on a bad spot… Did you do some troubleshooting yet?
I would first try to set the Fp2 on another place to see if disconnections will continue.
Or you can try to switch the one Fp2 with the other one… To see if it’s a bad place you positioned it or it’s a bad device

Yes, did trouble shooting. Reset wifi with no change, did full reset and reconfigured and still issue remains. Wifi signal is strong, have mesh hub in same room only 14ft away. Problem only started happening about 2-3 months ago. Don’t know if it’s a firmware update issue or just a hardware issue. Might just turn off the indicator light so I don’t notice it happening. It does reconnect after a minute or two

You can put it on another place and see if there’s some changing!
You can also send me a pic of the place it’s mounted- maybe I see something

FP2 is located in corn of room with a mesh router situated in the adjacent corner on identical corner shelf.

You can open a ticket with Aqara Support (support@aqara.com). They’ll be able to check the device logs and figure out more details about the disconnection issue.
