Fp2 unstable connection

My Aqara FP2 has been an excellent sleep tracker for years, but lately, the connection has been unstable. It frequently flashes blue and requires manual reconnection. Since my other Wi-Fi devices are working perfectly, what could be causing the FP2 to drop its connection so often?

No other changes to your network, major additions onto the network, and no changes in device placement?

Did the issue start at a specific time, perhaps in line with a firmware update?

Did you add lately a new WiFi decive or made some changes? Software update by router?

If you have a look through the forum, there’s a fair few of us having the same issue ever since soft sensor came out. Seems like it’s messed up the FP2 specifically for some reason. I’ve contacted support myself and they’re looking into it for me

Im experiencing something similar since trying out the soft sensor. However, I changed the access point used by the FP2 and it seems to be resolved. At least it didn’t had any disconnections since yesterday. Fingers crossed

Thanks for all the comments. The strange thing is that I only connected the FP2 to Wi‑Fi, but Alexa kept showing “reconnect server” messages. I ended up disconnecting FP2 from Alexa just to keep the Wi‑Fi connection stable.

The worst part is that whenever the FP2 reconnects to Wi‑Fi, all of my sleep reports disappear. Why can’t the FP2 save sleep data to the cloud and restore it after reconnecting to Wi‑Fi?

It’s absolutely wrong that we’re going through so much trouble and frustration for a sensor that promised so much. The money we paid for one could feed a child in Africa for 15 days. What you did is wrong; recall all FP2s and refund the money. Until this situation is resolved, I will not buy a single product from your brand. This is your last change
