So I ordered the FP300 from Amazon the first day it was available. It’s working nicely for about two weeks in Thread mode in Home Assistant via Matter. Then it became unavailable in Home Assistant. I re-paired it and it worked again for two days. Now it stopped again. What can I do?

I believe Thread is pretty scetchy on it from what others have been saying with limited function …use the ZigBee protocol and you’ll probably have better luck with more functionality
I will try Zigbee for now, but my Thread network has much better coverage and therefore is usually faster to react
I also recommend to change to zigbee! And the Fp300 has much more efforts in Zigbee mode - Special in The Aqara App!

Actually I bought this because this is marketed as Matter-over-Thread. If it doesnt work in Thread mode I will send it back.
I totally agree I am trying to migrate devices to thread and the FP300 is supposed to be battery and thread human presence with temp and humidity. So It is very frustrating it is not working. I have ordered several Meross MS605 to try as well.

In Home Assistant every entity is unavailable.

I’m having the same problem. Bought four from two different retailers.
The logs are showing me that the ZBT-2 / OpenThread Border Router keeps getting errors.

Update. I installed the beta firmware for the ZBT-2 and the past 24 hours seem to have gone well.
It’s able to recover the device if it fails, so it does’t stop working.
Beta firmware: 2.7.2.0
Haven’t run into other issues with the beta.
Same issue here. FP300 over thread stopped working after 3 days with Apple TV 4K acting as a border router. I managed to reset it and got it working again for some weeks, but since yesterday it is not connected in Apple Home or Home Assistant anymore 
Hi, do you have another border router except Apple TV ? Would be good to try and see if the issue happen with this border router. And it is suggested to upgrade all to the latest version.
Got 3 Aqara FP300 and All of them stops working in Apple Home or Home Assistant. They run Fine two weeks und then „unavailable“ in Home Assistant.
I have a Apple HomePod mini and several Eve Energy transmitter. My Thread Network Runs absolutely Fine except Aqara FP300.
They run unavailable the third Time. I wish i could Return them.
