Do we have on market any rechargable batteries in form factor of fp300 battery and with tiny usb-c port outside for easy recaharge?
Aqara made nice product but miss comfortability to recharge it by usb-c, only replacing usual batteries, it takes time and inconvinient if sensor is mounted high on ceiling.
A USB port right on the battery? I’ve only ever seen that on AA or AAA batteries. But you have to keep in mind that, because of the USB port, the battery will have a lower capacity than batteries without one. The CR2450 with built-in USB probably won’t work because the battery is much too small.
Why don’t you try searching for “CR2450 USB”? It looks like there are several solutions out there. One option, however, is a fake battery that can’t be charged but has to be plugged in all the time, and the other option is one where you can use AAA or AA batteries. In that case, you can use AAA or AA batteries with a USB port
However, since the FP300 requires two batteries, you will definitely need two of those fake batteries with cables that have to be routed out of the case. I have no idea if this will work or if it’s a good idea. Under no circumstances should you mix different solutions, though. That’s bound to go wrong. And under no circumstances should you mix regular batteries with any of these solutions.
