I’ve had mine running in the living room for a while now, and overall I’m pretty happy with it so far.
The multi-person tracking genuinely works, it correctly tells my partner and me apart even when we’re both sitting still, which is more than I expected going in.
Setting up zones was easy. I configured six of them across my open-plan space in just a few minutes through the app, and the zone-based automations have been firing reliably ever since.
I paired it via Thread and Matter into Home Assistant, and for the most part that’s worked well. That said, I’ve noticed a couple of the more advanced attributes, like zone occupancy, don’t seem to come through the same way they would over native Zigbee, so I might try switching modes to see if that resolves it.
I did have one random reboot during the first week, but nothing since.
All things considered, it’s a solid unit and I’ll be buying more!
