I just installed my first U400 Lock and it works great. I have it up and running in my Aqara app, linked it with Apple Home, and have the UWB features working. I’m very happy.
One feature request: it seems that the lock has a built in sensor to detect if the door is open or closed, with that state appearing in the Aqara app. Would it be possible to expose that as a separate sensor value in the Apple Home app? At present I have the lock/unlock state in Apple, but not the door state.
As it stands it looks like I need to add an additional physical door sensor to get that separate open/closed state. I am interested in using those values to control when to pause heating and cooling. It would be nice if I could just use the lock’s open/closed detection instead.
Again, great product at launch. I had a smooth experience and I’m planning to buy a second lock.
