G% Binding Timeout Code: 7163

This is the 3rd camera I’ve had this issue with. When trying to add I keep getting:

Binding Timed Out (Code: 7163)

The device token is invalid, please contact Aqara customer service

The device certificate ID is:

[534830368256652145920663161889455795937979224185]

It’s IMPOSSIBLE to contact Aqara customer service!!!

Hello @ib1ru_casa
It is very unfortunate that you have encountered such a problem, you need to contact support at the email address support@aqara.com

It is possible that your router or firewall settings are blocking the connection to the Aqara app.

I recommend checking the following:
:white_check_mark: Make sure the camera and your phone are on the same local network (no VLAN or guest network separation).
:white_check_mark: Temporarily disable any firewall, VPN, or ad-blocking settings that might interfere.
:white_check_mark: Ensure the latest firmware is installed via Apple Home, then try pairing again in the Aqara app.

Hi Raman, thank you for the response. I have tried all the recommended items - still get the same error. I have sent an email to support@aqara.com. I have 4 other G5 wifi cameras and had the same issue with two of them. I was able to magically get the add.

Please tell me what kind of router do you have? Maybe you tried to create an access point from your phone and try to connect a camera to it in Aqara home to exclude the possibility of problems with the router

eero Max 7: 1 Gateway and 3 Satellites. I did the normal setup, power on and add device in Aqara Home, Scan QR, it triees to connect an then the Bind error message

try disabling this mode Multi-Link (MLO)

Please record a short video of the code scanning and adding process and post it here

Great minds think alike - I have MLO turned off for my Network.
