G100 keeps going offline

I have two g100 cameras for outdoor security. One is attached to my garage, the other the back of the house.
The g100 on my garage keeps going offline and unresponsive. Everything else down there has power, but I have to keep power cycling it for it to work - which makes it pretty useless.

Anyone else got this issue? Does it need returning and replacing?

I had the same issues and found out, that it always happened at midnight to me. Exactly at that time I wanted to save my time laps video. Since I deactivated the time laps video on the camera, the issue is gone for me.

Have you activated the time laps video?

Did you update the firmware for the G100?

If change another adapter would help to solve the issue?

I’ll give that a try. I have two and I’m sure the are set the same. So weird that it only happens to one.

As far as I’m aware both devices are updated to the most recent firmware. I have changed the power adapter on the garage one and the issue has still repeated

I know it sounds a bit strange, but I had the same problem. One of my cameras kept going offline around midnight every night. I disabled the Time-Lapse Video feature on that camera, and the problem never came back!

I had exactly the same issue as you and the same solution

Throw out that Chinese crap and find a decent manufacturer. I’ve reached my boiling point today. For two years now, one Aqara device after another has been failing, and when I woke up this morning in a cold bedroom because the thermostat froze again, I ripped it off the radiator and smashed it on the floor. I’m done with this cheap garbage.

Wow - little harsh.
Aqara opened a support case for me - logged in and checked everything over. It hadn’t taken the firmware upgrade - the other one had…
I’m very happy with it all.
