I’ve recently installed and successfully integrated an Aqara M3 hub and G5 Pro camera with my 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and Apple HomeKit setup. Everything is operating on the same channel, including my HomePod and iPhone.
However, I’m encountering major issues with two G3 cameras:
• Camera #1 will not connect to the Aqara app despite multiple pairing attempts.
• Camera #2 has connected to the Aqara app, but refuses to link with Apple HomeKit.
To simplify the setup and avoid interference:
• My network is running on the 2.4GHz channel only.
• I’ve disabled 5GHz and WPA security settings temporarily.
• I’m using a TP-Link BE9300 router, and have confirmed Bluetooth and HomeKit configurations are correct.
Despite these efforts, neither camera is functioning as expected. I’m concerned this may be a hardware defect affecting one or both units. Or being an older camera maybe some router settings may need to change?
Could you please advise whether these symptoms might indicate a fault, and let me know what steps I should take next? I’d appreciate any guidance or advanced diagnostics and support anyone can offer.
