I am in the UK region and I have an Aqara Camera Hub G350 currently running firmware:
4.5.70_0002.007
I also have the new Aqara Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400 .
I specifically want to use the FP400 in Zigbee mode through the G350 , rather than using Matter over Thread, because I want to retain the full Aqara spatial functionality, including room mapping, multiple presence zones and the other advanced FP400 features.
The problem is that when I put the FP400 into Zigbee mode and try to add it in Aqara Home, the app shows a list of compatible Aqara hubs such as the M3, M100, M200 and other supported hubs , but my G350 does not appear as an available hub .
This is confusing because Aqara’s current official FP400 compatibility information lists the Camera Hub G350 as a supported hub , while also noting that availability can depend on region and firmware version.
My setup is:
- Region: United Kingdom
- Hub: Aqara Camera Hub G350
- G350 firmware: 4.5.70_0002.007
- Sensor: Aqara Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400
- FP400 mode: Zigbee
- Aqara Home app: latest available version
- Result: FP400 pairing screen does not offer the G350 as a compatible Zigbee hub
Could someone from Aqara please confirm:
- Which G350 firmware version enables FP400 Zigbee support?
- Has this firmware already been released in any region?
- Is G350 support currently being rolled out gradually or enabled server-side?
- Is there a beta/test firmware branch for the G350 that already supports the FP400?
- If so, could my G350/account be whitelisted for the beta firmware ?
- Is there an official method for obtaining the required firmware early through Aqara Home?
- Is FP400 support expected to work on the UK G350 hardware, or is there currently a regional restriction?
I know Aqara has previously provided beta G350 firmware to selected users/accounts, so I am happy to test a beta build if one is available.
I would prefer not to purchase an M3 purely for the FP400 , as the G350 is now officially listed as compatible and already performs the hub role in my setup.
If an Aqara representative needs my Aqara Home ID, G350 device ID/serial number, diagnostic logs or screenshots of the pairing screen , I can provide them privately.
I would particularly appreciate confirmation from someone on the Aqara firmware/product team as to whether 4.5.70_0002.007 is simply missing the FP400 device definition/support package , or whether a newer G350 firmware is required.
