G4 Doorbell no longer recording after firmware update?

Hello, I’m not sure if the new firmware is the issue, but I believe it was updated around when this started…

My G4 doorbell will no longer detect or record motion unless I am viewing the feed live, or if I just made a change in the Aqara app to a setting, then it’ll work as expected for about 60s. It’s almost like it loses connection and goes into sleep mode. I’m on the latest firmware 4.0.6_0030.0078.

I have it paired with HomeKit secure video, all the settings to record are correct, and I’ve done a factory reset. Same issue.

Check if your device is updated. I’m on version 4.0.6_0044_0092

I think you can contact Aqara support, see if they can help to remotely update firmware to solve this issue

Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same issue, and have been for a while. I don’t know exactly when it started, but it’s been a while. My firmware version says 4.0.6_0024.0072 and when I check for a firmware update, it says it is up to date.
