Any plans with new Matter 1.5.1 spec to add matter support to this camera?

Yes i have it in homekit, but would love automations in homeassistant as well

I can tell you this much regarding Home Assistant, they do not support Matter 1.5 or 1.5.1 yet. Thanks.

I have the same question.

I am considering buying a G400 or G410, but having those devices supporting Matter 1.5.1 Video Doorbells is critical.

I would like to know if future updates will implement the Matter 1.5.1 Video Doorbell standard on these devices.

Aqara Donie Product PM did a post about Matter camera firmware, they have just one camera today certified, the model 350 I believe it’s called and only one ecosystem supports matter cameras. I believe they mentioned its Samsung ecosystem.

So it sounds like Aqara is trying/working on it now with beta testing (a post about that as well to sign up) and communicating with the CSA who govern the Matter standards.
