Is anyone having problems retaining recorded doorbell videos for more than one day?
I have a apple subscription but videos are deleted after one day.
You should be able to see your recordings in the Apple Home app for 10 days (this is the default and cannot be changed).
It’s possible that it has stopped recording altogether.
- Can you still access the live stream?
- What exactly are your settings under the recording options?
- Might a restart of the Apple Home Hub help?
All recordings are removed after one day from the home app.

Recording options are stream and record while home and away.
I have restarted the home app, hub and doorbell camera several times to no avail.
My subscription should allow for up to 5 cameras but only have the G410 connected.
hi Rick, unfortunately, I don’t believe Aqara support staff and friendly people here cannot help with that. How many days recorded in Apple Home (1 day VS 10 days) its completely controlled by Apple and not Aqara at all.
But to try and help the most I can though, you stated you just have the one camera in Apple Home, with that said, when you click on the camera for live view, and are scrolling back through the day’s previous time. I am attaching screenshot below, you can see the calendar days as you start scrolling backwards, do you see other dates above? And if so, they are not bold like mine look like for ‘29’ and ‘30’?
If this doesn’t help, I humbly suggest to contact Apple Support for further help with it.
