G410 doorbell is interfering with ATAG ONE thermostat

Ever since I installed the G410 doorbell (which is great btw), my ATAG ONE thermostat is continuously losing its WiFi connection.
The G410 is on the 5 Ghz band, while the thermostat is on the 2.4 Ghz band. Hence, they should not interfere with each other…
Only thing I can imagine is the communication between the doorbell and chime (proprietary protocol) interfering with the 2.4 Ghz band.
Anyone else having similar issues?

@frank_deboer I’m sorry, but I couldn’t find any relevant information regarding the interference between the G410 doorbell and the ATAG ONE thermostat. It’s possible that this is a unique situation.

However, I encourage community collaboration on this issue. Maybe other users have encountered similar problems and can share their experiences or solutions. If you have any suggestions or improvements, I’d recommend submitting manual customer service feedback. This will help ensure that your concerns are properly addressed.

Let’s work together to find a solution!

You don’t mention any diagnosis steps.
Have you tried disabling the G410? Do the problems persist?
Could this be coincidental interference. Perhaps consider changing the channel your WiFi is using, could be crowded from a neighbour or other internal source.
Have you changed the thermostat batteries. Perhaps it’s struggling to power a stable connection.

Thanks for your response!
I have indeed unplugged the chime and the connection issues of the thermostat are gone. It only started when I installed the doorbell. So, the cause is quite clear.
The doorbell is wired btw. Power status is always good.
The chime is about 1 meter from my router. The connection status of the doorbell to the chime is always good.
My router is optimising the WiFi, picking the channel with the least interference. Because our house is quite old (brick walls and wooden floors) the WiFi is normally really good :-).
