I’m trying to add my son to my Home (Apple) - I don’t want him to be able to control/ view other accessories apart from the Doorbell.
The G410 doesn’t appear in the ‘customise access’ accessory list when setting him up as a guest in Apple Home.
If I add him as a resident it gives control over everything - which I do not want as he’s only 12 and likely to mess about with things.
Can’t you add him as resident but restrict his access? I think the home app gives you some options.

not for these accessories - I don’t want hime to have visibility or access to other devices otherwise hell be raising and closing blinds and turning lights on and off all the time . I thought you could just give access to a certain room but that option isn’t there either.
and as a guest the doorbell / camera does not show up as an accessory to customise access for.
You could add him as a Family member in Apple Family. Those under 13 can’t access certain settings.
He is a family member in Apple Family - its also his 13th birthday next week.
The main problem is the fact that the doorbell accessory does not appear in the customise list.
