Getting the doorbell to work in HomeKit seemed pretty easy to my novice level - but it only wakes up in HomeKit when it’s had a button push. I’d like it to pop up immediately when sensing movement and not require a ring button push to wake up. Is there a setting for this?
@karynengel Hi there! To enable your G410 doorbell to activate immediately upon sensing movement in HomeKit (without needing a button press), you can adjust the detection mode settings. According to the guidance, you’ll need to go to the Apple Home app > [Your G410 Doorbell] > Settings page > Record mode > choose the detection mode that includes motion detection. This should allow the doorbell to respond to motion triggers. Give it a try and feel free to share if you run into any issues
