G410 - Very slow since the update / FPS and when pressing the bell

Hello everyone, I have to say that - without making any changes - there have been some problems since the update when you press the ring button.

Video streams are completely interrupted after pressing, all RTSP streams, Apple Home, or even via Aqara Home - none of them can connect to the camera for the next 30 seconds. Since the update, I can no longer see a photo of who is at the door via Apple Home (previously, this was also visible in the notification with a photo).

When I look at the latest videos, you can clearly see that the camera turns off when the doorbell button is pressed (i.e., the stream is also interrupted).
First, here’s what I’ve already tried: Restarting the camera (doorbell power completely turned off for 1 minute) and the 5V power supply on the hub itself.

Next, I removed the connection to Apple Homekit and reconnected it, temporarily disabled RTSP streams completely, and disabled NAS storage.

The videos continue to be recorded until the doorbell is pressed (due to movement) – but as soon as you press the button
I kindly ask you to take another closer look at the problem. It is definitely related to the update. There were no problems before.

Last version where everything worked: 4.3.6_0058.0068
Now with problems: 4.3.8_0006.0078

  • Continuous power supply
  • Connected to Alexa, Apple Home, Matter HA
  • Currently disabled: RTSP, NAS storage, cloud storage
  • Local storage via SD currently for events
  • No sub-devices connected (Thread, Zigbee, Bluetooth)
  • The Thread-Boarder network is my Apple TV 4K.
  • 2 Matter (Home Assistant) automations entered for doorbell and motion

I really don’t know what else to try… Could this really be a defect in the device? If so, how can I perform a factory reset (reset to factory settings)? Not just a simple reset?

Reset to factory settings is done as follows:
Briefly press the button on the internal module 10 times in a row.

Hello Rayman, that’s unfortunate. You have the bell too. Do you see something similar on your end, or an FPS crash after ringing the bell in the video clip?
