G5 Pro from August records at 20fps/2500kbps solid to NAS, new G5 Pro's record as low as 10FPS/480kbps?!

So title basically says it all. I bought an M3 and a G5 Pro in August, plus I have 120+ devices. I migrated my whole house and another location to Aqara and went all in! Other than some major cloud issues I won’t be getting into this time, everything was great! So I bought 2 more G5 Pros. Only to learn that even though they are using the exact same firmware version (4.3.8_0008.0017), my first G5 records at 20fps, ~2500kbps forever, meaning 19MB every minute and I’m very happy with that! I can work with that as the quality is great and storage is cheap.

But, both my new G5 Pro’s seem to record to NAS with variable bitrate, going as low as 10 fps, 480kbps! Giving me saved files that are a useless blocky, over-compressed mess! What is happening here?

Not sure if I can bump this but this is still utterly unacceptable! Let me worry about the space it takes on my NAS and do not randomly and silently change things between the same devices bought just a few months apart.

RTSP for these two devices also seem to be terrible (blocky, laggy with artifacts) meanwhile the 1st device works flawlessly!

Had to factory reset both of them, now they are working fine for some reason but I’m happy.

Sounds like it’s you NAS settings that are messing with it. Mine are working just fine on my Synology server even on my very old Synology server they still run fine.

No, NAS is fine, it uploaded vids quickly without issues, but even RTSP feed was very choppy with tons of packet loss as per mdeiamtx/vlc. After factory reset they now both working flawlessly, uploading 18MB/minute vids to the same NAS they previously did 3-12MB/min vids with terrible quality. RTSP feed is also great now. I have the feeling the initial setup was glitchy for some reason and they both needed another full factory reset to work.
