G5 Pro is SIMPLY AMAZING!

Just received my new Aqara G5 Pro (PoE) version.

This camera is AMAZING! The photo below is taken in pitch black with no other lighting near and around the camera.

This photo was taken tonight, with sliiight moonlighting. I have no words to describe how amazing this looks! I even had to obscure the license plate because of how good the quality is.

And remember, this is PITCH black, in the middle of the night.

Here’s a G4 doorbell picture for comparison.

I have it connected via CAT6 UTP cable to my PoE switch, which is connected to my router.

The setup was fast and smooth. Will definitely buy more!

Thanks for sharing your impressions :+1:t2: . The G5 pro has a very cool picture in the dark.

I was blown away when I first saw the G5 Pro video at night in complete darkness. So much so I purchased 5 more .

It’s the night time video that is important. I wanna see what’s lurking around in the dark that I can’t see.

Totally agree on the night performance of the G5 Pro. I’ve got 2 Wifi and 1 PoE running right now, and super impressed with the quality of image. I’m using it conjunction with Home Assistant to map regions where I then get a PTZ camera to check that region out using an extended optical zoom - and the combo works great!

Nice to have the hub integrated too - I’m still thinking of what else I can now think about adding sensor wise in to the garden to take advantage of extra Zigbee and Matter reach.

Am now super excited for the 410 Hub - with localised consolidated storage and what looks to be potentially even more AI capability. Super impressed how Aqara is starting to become one of my go to brands as it’s just easy to integrate, and quality is actually pretty damn good.

I’ve got a number of Matter plugs too, but now looking at the Matter UK switches! I’m happy the range keeps building - but back to the G5 Pro … awesome photos of what you’re seeing with little to no light!
