I’ve been running 3 G5 Pro POE cameras with Apple Home perfectly for about 3 weeks. Yesterday all notofications & recordings from Home stopped. All cameras are set up within Home to notify and record when a person or animal spotted.
I have a similar, if not the same, problem. Beginning yesterday, my two G5 Pro’s, two G100’s, and one G410 stopped logging new recordings in Apple Home. Additionally, the previous recording can no longer play (black screen with horizontal-line-through-play icon). I can still see the live view through Apple Home.
Interesting - have you tried removing camera from Home yet?
It is now fixed. It was one or more of three things I did:
- Rebooted my Apple TV.
- Changed each camera’s Streaming & Recording options from Stream & Allow Recording to Stream and, after 30 seconds, reverted them back.
- Waited 15 minutes.
