Have you heard anything? I’m also very interested and have been holding off on purchasing a different set up since late last year.
Any guidance would be helpful!
I’m on the same boat.
By any chance does anyone know a rough release? I want to get these and the M410 base station pretty much as soon as they are available!
I think it will take little more time - Release date isn’t available yet ! But I also hope to get it soon ![]()
Still haven’t seen anything about this one but it’s highly anticipated. This would solve so many installation issues for me and I’m sure all of us.
I believe the beta tests are about to start in June, so it’s coming soon, but we’ll need to be patient.
Just curious, why do you think it will solve so many installation issues? With it being battery powered so you dont need to get power to it? What else makes you say that? thanks Ben!
Most cameras I’ve installed outside required me to be close to an outlet, add a usb c extension cable or pull Ethernet. I’ve also had battery powered cameras in the past with a separate solar panel to keep them topped off. With this camera having the battery/solar it removes those two obstacles allowing easier mounting and more location options. I can even have one on my shed in the back of the yard facing my home.
oh nice, thanks for the explanation, I didnt know they will have solar power as well. I’d love to mount a couple additional outside too and same as you from the garage or front yard trees to look at the house itself. Just not sure how far my wifi will reach, I am using Eero Max7 mesh routers, they are pretty powerful. I will just have to buy one when they release to see if I can get them to reach. thanks again Ben!
My pleasure! I am currently using UniFi so if I have a connectivity issue I may need to get an outside access point myself.
Ahhh, thanks, Ben, never thought of that myself, Amazon Eero does also make an outdoor Eero Max7 mesh version too!
