Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my recent experience with pairing GE Link bulbs using the V2 Hub. After struggling with Cree bulbs for days, I decided to try GE Link bulbs, and I must say, it was a game-changer! The setup was much smoother, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. If anyone is having trouble with bulb pairing, I highly recommend giving GE Link a shot!
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with energy harvesting devices from Eltako, specifically the FTKE-rw sensors. They’ve been a fantastic addition to my home automation setup, especially since they don’t require batteries or wiring. However, after about a year, I noticed some inconsistencies in their performance. Eltako was really helpful in replacing the faulty units, which gave me more confidence in their reliability. I’d love to hear others’ experiences with similar devices!
Lastly, I stumbled upon a great tip for saving energy. By setting my lights to automatically dim during the day and using motion sensors to control them at night, I’ve managed to reduce my energy consumption significantly. It’s a small change, but it makes a big difference!
If anyone has tips or tricks for optimizing their smart home setup, I’d love to hear them. Happy automating everyone! ![]()
