I recently purchased four Xiaomi RGB smart bulbs and three Google Home Minis, and I’m thrilled with how they’ve transformed my space. The bulbs, which I believe are rebranded Yeelights, have been a breeze to set up. Their vibrant colors and smooth dimming capabilities have completely changed the ambiance of my home. I’m especially impressed with how seamlessly they integrate with my voice commands through the Google Home app. The convenience of adjusting the lighting with just my voice is truly amazing. I’m now looking into adding motion sensors and door sensors to enhance my security setup. I’m curious if anyone has experience with setting up a Raspberry Pi with Home Assistant for these devices. I’ve heard great things about it, but I’m still a bit unsure about the best configuration. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I’m also exploring the idea of automating my lights based on sunrise and sunset times, which would be a fantastic addition to my routine.
