Hello everyone! I just wanted to share my recent experience with Govee lights and how they’ve transformed my new home. It’s been a fantastic journey so far, but I’ve hit a small snag that I’m hoping you all can help me with. A few weeks ago, I decided to upgrade my lighting setup and went all in on Govee products. I’ve installed several of their LED strip lights and smart bulbs throughout the house, and the results have been amazing. The vibrant colors and smooth dimming features have completely changed the vibe of my living spaces. However, there’s one issue that’s been bugging me. I recently added a new Govee backlight under my TV, and while it’s bright and colorful, the light output doesn’t seem as consistent as I expected. The strip near the bottom of the TV is noticeably dimmer compared to the rest of the setup. I’ve tried adjusting the brightness levels and even covered the glossy surface with a matte finish, but it hasn’t made much of a difference. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their Govee lights? I’d love to hear if there are any tips or tricks to balance out the light output. Maybe it’s something simple like adjusting the placement or tweaking the settings in the app? On a lighter note, I’ve been having a blast experimenting with different lighting scenes and automations. It’s incredible how a good lighting system can completely change the mood of a room. I’ve even started a poll in the community to decide which color theme to use for the living room—so far, the results are pretty split between warm whites and cool blues! If anyone has any advice or just wants to share their own Govee lighting projects, I’d love to hear about them. It’s always inspiring to see how others are using these devices to create their perfect spaces. Thanks in advance for your help and insights! ![]()
