The Wi-Fi feature worked perfectly right out of the box, and I’ve never had any issues with connectivity. The color options are simply stunning, and the brightness remains consistent, which is a huge plus for me.
I’ve moved the lamp around my room several times, and even took it on vacation, and it’s held up beautifully. It’s definitely a reliable companion that brightens up any space. Now, I do want to mention that I’ve encountered a minor issue about 15 times over the year. Occasionally, only one row of pixels will work, and the rest get stuck on the same mode. Unplugging it for a while usually fixes the problem, though sometimes it takes a bit longer. Interestingly, this seems to happen more often when using modes with orange, yellow, or red tones.
Despite this minor hiccup, the Govee Aura has been a fantastic addition to my home. The app controls are smooth, and the physical buttons on the lamp itself are responsive. I’ve even managed to integrate it with my smart home setup, which adds another layer of convenience. If this issue doesn’t resolve itself, I plan to get it replaced, but I’m hopeful it won’t come to that. Govee’s customer service has been great, so I know I can rely on them if needed.
