Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience setting up a Govee claw game and integrating it with my smart lighting system. It’s been a fun and rewarding project, and I’d love to hear others’ thoughts or tips!
I recently purchased the Govee H70B3 claw machine lights, and I must say, they’ve completely transformed my living room! The vibrant colors and customizable effects are amazing. I’ve been experimenting with different themes, like a gaming setup with pulsating RGB lights and a calming bedtime routine with warm hues. The ability to create custom scenes through the Govee app has been a game-changer for me.
One challenge I faced was integrating these lights with my existing smart home ecosystem. I use Home Assistant, and initially, I wasn’t sure how to connect the Govee devices seamlessly. After some research and tinkering, I discovered that using the Zigbee2MQTT integration worked perfectly. Now, I can control the lights through my voice assistant, automate them with routines, and even monitor their energy usage.
Another highlight of this project was setting up a claw game theme for movie nights. I programmed the lights to flash in sync with action scenes, creating an immersive experience. My family and friends loved it, and it’s become our go-to setup for movie marathons.
I’d love to hear from others who’ve worked with Govee products—what tips or tricks have you found useful? Also, if anyone has experience with custom lighting scenes or integration challenges, I’d appreciate any advice or insights!
Overall, this project has been a fantastic way to enhance my home entertainment setup while diving deeper into the world of smart home automation. Thanks to the supportive community here, I was able to troubleshoot and optimize my setup. Cheers to all the creative minds in this space! ![]()
