Govee Dehumidifier Experience and Feature Request

I’ve been using Govee products for a while now, and I must say, they’ve consistently impressed me with their reliability and integration within my smart home ecosystem. Recently, I’ve been exploring the H7151 dehumidifier, and while it’s been a solid addition to my setup, I’ve noticed a small detail that could really elevate its functionality.

Currently, I have two dehumidifiers in my basement, both equipped with built-in pumps. This setup is fantastic because it allows for gravity drainage, which is essential given the layout of my home. However, I’ve been wondering if Govee could consider adding a built-in pump option to the H7151. This feature would not only enhance its versatility but also make it a more seamless addition to homes where gravity drainage isn’t an option.

In my experience, the H7151 has been a workhorse, efficiently maintaining the humidity levels in my basement. The integration with my existing smart home setup has been smooth, and the app controls are user-friendly. However, the lack of a built-in pump means I have to rely on external solutions, which can sometimes be cumbersome.

I’d love to see Govee expand on this by offering a version of the H7151 with a built-in pump as an optional feature. This would make it a more complete solution for a wider range of users. Plus, it would align perfectly with Govee’s reputation for innovative and user-centric smart home devices.

Overall, I’m really happy with my Govee products, and I’m hopeful that future iterations will continue to push the boundaries of smart home technology. Keep up the great work, Govee!
