Hello everyone! I wanted to share some exciting updates and tips I’ve gathered recently, all while keeping things positive and fun. Let’s dive in!
First off, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my Govee products. They’ve completely transformed how I decorate my home, especially during the holidays. I’ve been experimenting with some DIY projects, and I’d love to hear your thoughts! For instance, I’ve created a beautiful starry night effect using some simple materials and my Govee lights. It’s been a hit with my family and friends!
On another note, I’ve been exploring energy monitoring with TP-Link smart plugs. It’s been a fascinating journey! I set up a project to track power consumption across multiple locations in the UK. Using a TP-Link HS110 and a SmartThings hub, I’ve managed to log data with a granularity of one minute. The challenge was figuring out how to export this data into a spreadsheet for analysis. After some research, I discovered that setting up a cron job to periodically fetch the data and store it was the way to go. It’s been a great learning experience!
I’d also like to give a shoutout to the Govee community. Their support and creativity are truly inspiring. I’ve noticed that many users are sharing their DIY projects, which not only adds a personal touch to their setups but also fosters a sense of community. If anyone has tips or tricks for enhancing their Govee projects, I’d love to hear them!
Lastly, I wanted to mention the Govee app updates. The new Halloween theme is fantastic, with those subtle icon changes really adding to the festive mood. It’s these little details that make using the app such a pleasure!
Thank you all for being part of this amazing community. Let’s keep the positive energy flowing and continue to inspire each other with our creative projects and helpful tips!
Happy decorating and happy monitoring! ![]()
