Hey everyone, I wanted to share a fun little DIY project I recently completed using Govee packaging boxes. I’ve always been a fan of Govee’s affordable and stylish lighting solutions, but I never thought their packaging would come in handy for home decor! 
After receiving a few shipments, I noticed how sturdy and versatile the boxes were. So, I decided to repurpose them into tiny floating shelves for my living room. The result? A super cute and functional addition to my space that didn’t cost a dime! 
Here’s how I did it:
- Clean and Sand: I started by thoroughly cleaning the boxes and lightly sanding the edges to give them a smoother finish.
- Prime and Paint: I used a small brush to apply primer and then painted them in a soft, neutral color that matches my room’s aesthetic.
- Mounting: I opted for floating mounts to keep the look clean and minimalist. It was surprisingly easy to install them on the wall!
- Styling: I added some small decor items like succulents, candles, and trinkets to give each shelf its own personality.
The best part? These shelves are perfect for showcasing my Govee lights while adding a pop of color and functionality to the room.
