I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my recent purchases from Govee! It’s hard to believe how quickly I’ve become a fan of their products. My latest additions are these beautiful porch lights, and I’m already planning for next year’s holiday decorations. The integration with my smart home system has been seamless, and I love how versatile these devices are.
However, I did run into a small issue when setting up my cameras. I ordered two additional Blink cameras, and while the first one worked perfectly, the second one automatically enrolled me in a subscription without giving me the option to stay legacy. I’m curious if others have experienced this or if there’s a way to avoid it in the future. It would be great if the legacy designation could still be an option for those who prefer it.
Another thing I’m exploring is how to integrate my Govee devices with other brands in my setup. I’ve heard that using MQTT can be a great way to connect different systems, but I’m still learning the ropes. If anyone has tips or success stories on integrating Govee with other platforms, I’d love to hear about them!
