Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Govee Glide Y Lights. These lights have been a game-changer for my smart home setup, especially in creating the perfect ambiance for movie nights and gaming sessions.
I’ve had them for a couple of months now, and I must say, they are THE BEST. During movie nights, they dim so softly that they serve as a perfect backlight without distracting from the screen. However, they also get incredibly bright, which is great for daytime use. I usually keep them around 60% brightness, and that’s more than enough for most situations.
The music modes are another highlight—they sync perfectly with the music, creating a dynamic and immersive experience. Govee has also refined the scenes and added more options that make full use of the Y shape’s RGBIC lights.
One thing I was worried about was heat buildup, but after months of testing, I’m happy to report that these lights stay cool even when left on for extended periods. They’ve never gotten warmer than my phone after 20 minutes of usage, which is a huge relief.
