The holiday season is always a great time to experiment with smart lighting, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with Govee’s offerings this year. Their tree lights are absolutely stunning, and I’ve been using them to decorate my home. However, I’ve been thinking about how to expand my setup even further. I’d love to see Govee release icicle lights to complement their tree lights—something with a 11W or 100W equivalent LED bulb option would be perfect.
Another idea I’ve been tossing around is a front door light with night vision tech, similar to what I’ve seen in some outdoor security cameras. It would be amazing to have a ceiling light that combines RGB and CCT modes but operates like a standard light most of the time.
I also think it would be fantastic if Govee could develop a QR code feature that allows users to share limited-access control with family members. Imagine being able to give your kids access to control the lights or play games without granting full access to your account—this would be a fun and safe way to engage the whole family!
