Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you all well! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation, and it’s been an incredible journey so far. However, I’ve encountered a peculiar issue with my Govee lights that I’m hoping the community can help me troubleshoot.
I’ve set up several scenes to automate my lighting based on different moods or activities in my home. Everything works perfectly when I control the lights directly through Home Assistant. However, when I trigger a scene that involves turning on the Govee lights, they briefly turn on but then revert back to their previous state within about 30 seconds. This doesn’t happen when I use the lights directly without a scene, which is quite puzzling.
I’ve tried both the local LAN integration and the govee2mqtt addon, as suggested in some forums, but the issue persists. It’s especially frustrating because the lights work fine otherwise, and the problem is isolated to scenes involving these specific Govee devices.
I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there’s a workaround or fix. Perhaps there’s a setting or configuration I’m missing that could stabilize the scene functionality with Govee lights? I’d also love to hear if others have successfully integrated Govee lights into their scenes without issues.
In the meantime, I’m continuing to experiment with different configurations and monitoring the behavior closely. I’ll keep the community updated on any progress or solutions I find.
Thank you all for your time and expertise. Let’s keep the spirit of collaboration alive and crack this puzzle together!
Best regards,
