Govee Lights and Fibaro Integration for Heating Control

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a quick story about how I’ve been using my Govee RGB-IC lights and a Fibaro relay to create a cozy heating system for my cabin. It’s been a fun project, and I thought I’d walk through my experience in case anyone else is looking to do something similar!

I’ve always loved the idea of using smart devices to automate my home, but integrating different brands can sometimes be a bit tricky. That’s why I was so excited when I discovered how well my Govee lights work with the Fibaro relay. The setup was surprisingly straightforward—just connect the relay to the heating cable and set up a timer in the Govee app. Now, I can control the heating from my phone, even when I’m not at the cabin!

One thing I struggled with at first was getting the relay to switch on and off at specific times. I reached out to the community for advice, and someone suggested using a weekly timer with a shuffle option. This feature has been a lifesaver! It keeps the floor warm and toasty without needing constant monitoring. I’ve even set it up to run for 24 hours initially to get everything warmed up, and then it maintains the heat throughout the day.

What’s been most rewarding is seeing how all these devices work together seamlessly. The Govee app’s user-friendly interface makes it easy to manage everything, and the Fibaro relay adds an extra layer of control that I really appreciate. Plus, knowing that I can tweak the settings anytime from my phone gives me peace of mind.

I also wanted to take a moment to thank everyone in this community. The support and shared knowledge here have been invaluable, and it’s amazing to be part of such a friendly and helpful group. If anyone else is looking to combine different smart devices, I highly recommend giving it a try—you might be surprised at how much you can achieve!

Happy tinkering, everyone! :rocket::sparkles:
