I wanted to share my exciting experience with the annual Balcony Decorations Contest at my apartment complex. This year, I decided to step up my game and incorporate some smart tech into my entry. And guess what? I’m super confident I’ll be in the top 5 out of 225 entries! 
I’ve always loved how Govee lights can transform any space, so I decided to use them as the centerpiece of my decoration. I combined multiple Govee LED strips and bulbs to create a dynamic display that changes colors and patterns throughout the day. It’s not just about looks—it’s about creating a mood! 
For the contest, I took it a step further and created a short video showcasing my setup. I used CapCut to compile three clips into one smooth presentation, highlighting the different lighting modes and how they adapt to the changing light of day. The result? A video that’s both visually stunning and tech-savvy! 
I’m really proud of how it turned out, and I can’t wait to see if I make it to the top 5. If I do, it’ll be a great motivator to keep improving my smart home setup. If not, well, it’s still a win because I got to experiment with new tech and have a blast doing it!
