I wanted to share my experience with Govee lights this Halloween season! 
I’ve been using the Govee portable lamps to create some magical decorations around my home, and the results are simply stunning. The soft pastel colors and warm glow really set the mood for the holiday, and they’re so easy to control with my smartphone. 
However, I’ve come across an interesting challenge with my Somfy awning. I wanted to integrate it into my smart home setup without spending a fortune, so I decided to try using a D1 Mini to piggyback on the remote control. After some tinkering, it actually worked! I’m not an expert by any means, but this setup allows me to control the awning via the companion app and even create automations. It’s been a fun project, and I’m happy with how it turned out.
