Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with integrating Govee lights into my smart home setup. I recently purchased a set of Govee lights and was impressed by how easy the setup process was. The included templates made it straightforward to design a layout that suited my space perfectly. I managed to link two sets of lights, totaling 14 panels, which was a breeze thanks to the user-friendly interface.
However, I did encounter a minor issue with the color temperature adjustment feature. Initially, the lights started at 2000K instead of the desired 2700K, which threw me off a bit. After some troubleshooting, I realized it was a setting I could adjust in the app. Once fixed, the lights performed exceptionally well, providing consistent brightness and smooth transitions.
Another thing I loved was the ability to control these lights through my Home Assistant setup. It added a whole new layer of automation to my home, allowing me to create scenes that perfectly matched my mood or activity.
