Hey everyone! I’ve been playing around with my Govee smart lights lately, and I stumbled upon something pretty cool. Did you know you can use a Snapchat filter to control them? I was just messing around with some different filters when I noticed the lights changing colors in sync with the filter effects. It was such a fun discovery!
I decided to test it out more thoroughly. I opened the Govee app, connected my lights, and then switched over to Snapchat. I applied a filter with some vibrant colors and presto! The lights started matching the filter’s hues perfectly. It was like magic! I even tried changing the filter mid-interaction, and the lights adjusted in real-time. The possibilities are endless—imagine using this during a party or a movie night!
However, I did run into a small hiccup. The connection wasn’t always seamless. Sometimes there was a slight delay, and occasionally the lights wouldn’t respond immediately. But I think that’s just a minor tweak needed. I’ll probably reach out to Govee support to see if there’s a way to optimize this feature.
