Hey everyone! I’ve been exploring the best ways to place my new Govee M1 LED strip to light up my entire room, and I thought I’d share my findings and experiences with you all. 
First off, the Govee M1 is such a fantastic product—it’s responsive, easy to install, and the community support is amazing! I’ve seen some incredible DIY projects and hacks that really make this strip stand out. However, I did notice that it’s not as bright as I initially hoped, and unfortunately, it doesn’t work with Apple HomeKit. But hey, no product is perfect, right? 
When it comes to placement, I found that strategically placing the strip along the baseboards or behind furniture creates a beautiful ambient glow. I also tried running it along the ceiling, which gave a nice, soft overhead lighting effect. Experimenting with different lengths and angles really helped me achieve the desired brightness throughout the room. Plus, the ability to control it via the Govee app is a huge plus—it’s so easy to adjust the color and intensity to match my mood.
