I’m really excited to share some of my recent experiences with the Govee outdoor pathway lights and my journey with Home Assistant. First off, the Govee outdoor lights have been a game-changer for my backyard setup! They’re so easy to install and the RGB features really bring the space to life. I’ve been experimenting with different color schemes and it’s amazing how they can completely transform the mood of the area. If anyone has tips on creating custom light shows or integrating them with other smart devices, I’d love to hear about it!
On another note, I’ve been diving into Home Assistant and it’s been both exhilarating and a bit overwhelming. I’ve managed to set up a few automations and scenes, but the UI part has me a bit stuck. I came across a user who mentioned they hired someone to design their UI, which sounds perfect for me. I’m not really into tweaking YAML files or learning how to code for the UI, so if anyone knows of reliable design services or has tips on making the interface more user-friendly, I’d be grateful!
Lastly, I’ve been trying to figure out how to open Spotify directly using a button in my Android setup. I’ve tried a few intents but haven’t had much luck. It would be awesome if someone could shed some light on this or suggest alternative methods. Happy to share any other tips or experiences I’ve had along the way!
