I’m thrilled to share my experience with the Govee Outdoor Clear Bulb String Lights. After receiving them, I was immediately impressed by their sleek design and the potential they hold for outdoor lighting. The set includes a 48-foot string with 15 clear RGBW bulbs, which are both IP67 and IP65 waterproof, perfect for any outdoor setup. The packaging was minimalistic but sturdy, and despite some weather concerns, the device itself arrived in excellent condition.
I’ve been experimenting with the lights, and they’ve exceeded my expectations in terms of brightness and color variety. The ability to control them via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Matter is a huge plus, offering flexibility for different setups. However, the weather has been less than cooperative, so I’m still planning to install them outside to fully test their performance in real conditions.
One tip I’d like to share is investing in a waterproof enclosure for the power source, as recommended by the community. This ensures added protection, especially since the control box is only IP65 rated. I’ve also taken some initial pictures and videos, and I’m excited to document the final installation once the weather clears up.
