Hey everyone! I wanted to share my experience with the Govee RGBIC LED Strip Lights (Model H6117). If you’re considering these lights, here’s what I think!
The Good Stuff:
First off, I absolutely love how vibrant and customizable the colors are. The remote control is a nice touch, and it’s super easy to switch between preset modes or create your own. The adhesive backing works well once you get the hang of it, and the strips blend seamlessly into my setup.
The Minor Hiccups:
Now, why did I give it a 4.8/5 rating? Well, the adhesive initially stuck to the peel tabs instead of the strips, which was a bit frustrating. I had to fiddle around to get it right. Also, the Govee Home App has a few bugs, but nothing major. It lacks some syncing features, and the Alexa integration is a bit lackluster. However, the Google Assistant support works perfectly!
Why I Still Recommend It:
Despite these minor issues, the Govee RGBIC LED Strip Lights are a fantastic choice for anyone looking to add some color and ambiance to their space. The app and voice control features are mostly reliable, and the vibrant colors truly make a statement. I’m really happy with my purchase and would definitely consider other Govee products in the future!
