Govee RGBIC LED Strips: A Weekend Installation Adventure

Hey everyone! :star2: I just wanted to share my recent purchase and installation plans for my kitchen under-cabinet lighting. I’ve decided to upgrade my older Govee RGBIC LED strips with some newer ones, and I’m super excited to get started this weekend! :bulb:First, a bit of background: I’ve been using Govee products for a while now, and I’ve always been impressed by their vibrant colors and ease of use. The RGBIC strips I’ve had so far have been a hit, especially for setting the mood during dinner parties or creating a relaxing ambiance in the evenings. But with time, they started to show some wear and tear, so it was the perfect opportunity to upgrade! This time, I went with the latest Govee RGBIC strips, and I must say, the packaging and design look even better than before. The color accuracy and brightness seem to have improved, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Plus, the fact that they’re compatible with my existing smart home setup is a huge plus! :hammer_and_wrench:Now, the fun part—installation! I’ve mapped out the entire process, from removing the old strips to cutting the new ones to the perfect length. I’ve also decided to add some additional mounting brackets to ensure everything stays secure. I’m planning to document the whole process and share some before-and-after photos once I’m done. :camera_flash:I’m curious to hear from others who’ve made the switch to newer Govee products—what improvements did you notice? Any tips or tricks for a seamless installation? I’d love to hear your experiences! :dart:Looking forward to lighting up my kitchen and creating some amazing color schemes! :sparkles:
